Gua Sha Facial Massage
Gua Sha has been practiced in traditional Chinese medicine as early as the 1300s to help increase blood flow, unblock energy, and reduce tension. In this deeply relaxing treatment we first gently cleanse your face then use smooth stone tools to perform rhythmic massage strokes, gliding across your face with non-comedogenic grapeseed oil along specific areas to relieve tension, promote circulation, and encourage lymphatic drainage.
To prepare your skin for the Gua Sha, we deep cleanse your face with Augustinus Bader's "The Cream Cleansing Gel", which gently cleans while hydrating and soothing the skin thanks to its nourishing ingredients like aloe vera and rose flower water. Enhanced with TFC8® technology, it supports skin renewal, refines pores, and provides antioxidant protection, leaving the skin refreshed and radiant without stripping its natural moisture. Your face will be massaged with pure grapeseed oil, a non-greasy oil packed with antioxidants. It has anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for soothing irritated skin. And, grapeseed oil absorbs easily, leaving the skin soft, hydrated, and glowing. We massage your face with specific strokes using smooth Gua Sha stones to revitalize your skin, release tension, improve circulation, and leave you deeply relaxed. This 30 minute massage add-on is a great way to finish any massage, whether relaxing or therapeutic. |
